How to support your child on the journey to study in the UK

Tuition Fees Are Too Expensive

Tuition fees represent the cost of studies at university level. They have to be paid every year for the entire duration of the course. In the UK, the fees for most courses vary between 6,000 to 13,000 GBP per year.

EU Students 100% Tuition Fee Funding
Even though this may seem expensive, studying in the UK is actually totally affordable. The British Government has implemented a programme that gives free access to higher education in the UK to all EU and UK nationals, in order to encourage people to continue their studies at university level and get a bachelor degree.
In order to obtain 100% tuition fee funding from the British Government, your child must meet the following requirements:

  • To have EU nationality;
  • To not have studied at university level before, in any country.

You can read more about how the funding system works here.

If you are the parent of a non-EU child, you can read here about scholarships available for non-EU students.
