How to support your child on the journey to study in the UK

About Brexit

As you know, the UK is preparing to leave the European Union under Brexit at 2020 January 31st. However, the UK will enter a transition period until December 2022.

What is the impact for you?

For EU students who want to start their course in January 2020, September 2020 and January 2021.

- Tuition finance is guaranteed through Student Finance, renewable for all years of the course.

- The cost of tuition will be no different than the tuitions of British students for the entire duration of the course.

- The doors will remain open in the UK, with no visa required to enter for EU students. Resident status can be subsequently requested, which will give you the possibility to live, study and work in the country indefinitely.

At this time, English colleges and universities are working to ensure that students from the European Union can continue to study in the UK, even after Brexit. The UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) has issued advice to EU students on post-Brexit rules and rights and UK residency arrangements.

Ucademics will post more news about Brexit as it is updated.
