Your master’s degree will provide the springboard you need to develop a management or leadership career in hospitality and/or tourism. When you graduate, you might want to apply for a direct-entry job (a permanent post with a specific job title) or for a graduate programme, which will give you exposure to a range of roles.

You might choose to work in hotels or resorts, the leisure industries, events management, or even catering. On the tourism side, you might work for a tour operator, an online travel agency, a national airline, a government ministry or a resort. You could head for destination management, corporate travel or incentive travel. You might develop a real interest in a specialist issue, such as the customer experience or sustainability. You could even work in a connected field, such as consultancy, publishing, journalism or IT.
