The curriculum you’ll study covers a variety of relevant topics including global trends in tourism; cultural heritages; business management and international marketing. Each unit looks at issues as they relate to the travel and tourism industry, encouraging you to use your existing knowledge and apply it in combination with new skills.

The course also has a strong focus on employability, helping you to develop transferable business and management skills that can be applied in a wide range of careers. Theory is reinforced through discussions with peers and industry experts, case-studies, problem solving exercises and critiques - all carried out with the direct support of our experienced course team.

Solent University has been successfully running undergraduate degrees in tourism since 2000, staffed by experts in a range of travel, tourism and management fields. If an application is sent to us by 18:00 (UK time) on this day, we’ll send it to the chosen universities or colleges. Applications received after this date will automatically be entered into Clearing.

31 August 2019

The deadline for any remaining conditions to be met – otherwise the university or college might not accept the applicant. Adjustment ends on this date.
