How does healthcare system in the UK work?

Healthcare in the UK is, in most cases, insured and covered by NHS (National Health Service). For students, things are quite easy. During your Induction Week, the university will provide forms and instructions on how to register for the university's doctor. Almost every university has the Health Services office on their campus where they help you with any health-related topic.

In general cases, a city Hospital near your university will have a specific doctor assigned to the students of that particular university. This will be your family doctor which you will be able to book appointments with.

But if you need help or tips about this matter our student advisers can help you!
