About ICMP Music College
ICMP has been developing and delivering music degrees and music courses for longer than any other UK Music School from our campus in London. It offers a specialist range of industry-aligned Masters Programmes, Music degrees, 1 year Higher Education Programmes (HNC/CERT HE) and part-time music courses for students of Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals, Songwriting, Music Production and Music Business. These courses are all focused on preparing musicians, producers, performers, creative artists and entrepreneurs for a successful and rewarding career in the music industry.
The courses are all focused on preparing musicians, producers, performers, creative artists and entrepreneurs for a successful and rewarding career in the music industry. And they must be doing something right because, within 6 months of graduating, over 91%* of our graduates are in employment or further education; around two-thirds are engaged in music-related jobs or study, and the average salary of ICMP Music College graduates is almost 12% above that for arts graduates.
Their personalised learning approach means we get to know you as a musician. They provide a learning experience that’s unique to you. They will work with you to nurture your natural talent, explore your future ambitions, and provide ongoing opportunities for live performances, auditioning, songwriting, recording and touring. They understand that each student will have different career motivations, and your vision of ‘success’ will be unique, so you are encouraged you to follow your path. At the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, your future is in your hands, and you’ll graduate feeling emboldened and inspired, with the tools, connections, self-confidence and head start you need to drive your career in the music industry forward.
Unlike other music schools, all ICMP facilities and equipment are available free of charge for personal practice 7 days per week outside of time-tabled hours; with small class sizes, a high number of teaching contact hours, a personalised approach to student engagement and support, and dynamic use of technology in the classroom, choosing an ICMP course is a sure way to get a head start with your music career!
