The University of Bolton is at the centre of the town in the centre of the UK.
On-campus at the University of Bolton, you really are at the heart of things. The town centre is easy to reach on foot, and we’re only a few minutes’ walk from the main rail and coach stations. We’re also less than a 20-minute train journey from Manchester, the biggest city in the north of England and home to international arts and sporting events.
Bolton has great transport links and is perfectly placed in the middle of the country, halfway between London and Edinburgh, and within easy reach of Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield and York. Bolton is on the edge of the West Pennine Moors and not far from the Lake District, Peak District and Snowdonia national parks, as well as the seaside at Blackpool.
